About Us
Chandigarh Pollution Testing Laboratory came into being in 1996 & since then it is engaged in the Testing of Water, Waste Water, Air Quality, Source Emissions, Soil Testing, Metal Analysis. It is equipped with its state of art instrumentation and technically trained manpower to meet the challenging needs. As a result, we are capable of meeting the analytical needs of industries for which the Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi has prescribed Industry Specific (MINAS) standards.
The laboratory is approved by MOEF, GOI, New Delhi and accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratory (NABL). In addition, it is ISO Certified for Quality Management, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
While serving the industry, we also advise them to adopt Best Available Technology. In addition to analytical services, CPTL conducts Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies in its CPTL-EIA Division which is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Education & Training (NABET/QCI) for as many as 13 industrial sectors.
We have so far served more than 500 industries in the field of EIA studies. As part of our moral duty, we are educating the general public about the benefits by adopting Environmentally Sound Management practices through Seminars, Audio, Video etc. under the National Environmental Education and Awareness Programmes.
